When students leave Living Sky School Division, their user accounts are converted to an Alumni account. This occurs regardless of what grade the student was in when they left.

Alumni accounts remain active for a period of 30 days after the student has left.

After 30 days, any account that hasn't been signed into will be disabled. A disabled account can still be recovered, upon request.

Student accounts remain in a disabled state for 30 days (at least 60 days after the student has left). Student accounts which are disabled can be re-enabled by request - contact the last Living Sky SD school the student attended.

Student accounts which are disabled for more than 30 days are automatically deleted from our system. This will delete all student owned documents, files and photos associated with the account.

Note that student records (grades, attendance data, etc) is stored separately, and is not deleted with the account. We retain student records as per the Records Retention and Disposal Guide for Saskatchewan School Divisions. Student documents, files and photos are not considered student records, and are not governed by this provincial policy.
