Description of issue

• Outlook has stopped downloading new email messages
• In the bottom-right corner of the Outlook window, it says "Working Offline"

Open Outlook

Click the Send/Receive tab along the top

Click the "Work Offline" button.

Your Outlook should now be "Online"

The shading behind the button should disappear, and Outlook should now be online. The button should look exactly like it does in the image to the right.

In the bottom-right corner of the Outlook window, it should now say Connected to: Microsoft Exchange

If the button has a shaded background (as in the images above), the button is on, and your Outlook is offline.

If there is no shading behind the button (as in the image to the right), Outlook is online.
