Example - Image to a Page
In this example, let's add an image to Hartley Clark's About page.
Tags
This is an optional step but will help you find the picture instead of looking through all images on the site.
Because the media manger where pictures are stored will have all the images, it might be hard to find the one you are looking for. For this reason, you may want to categorize the images in tags. There should be tags already there (sports, logo, etc.). For this example I'll make a new tag. For this one I'm going to tag the image as "HCES-About" so I can easily find it. It's not a great name because it doesn't describe what the image is, but I want to avoid using something more generic like "School". Just pick something to categorize it for your reference to find it easier if you wish.
Click the gear icon
and then go into Tags on the left menu:Click Add new tag
I created one called HCES-About
Type: Media
Upload image to Media Manager
Open the main menu on the top left, go into Media .
In that page select the tag you made, so the image uploads into HCES-About in this example.
You can click the box there on the page and find your image, but I usually like to drag and drop images in like this:
Click save.
Edit About page
Open the menu at the top left, click Pages:
You can use the search there to filter out pages to find the page you are needing to edit.
click the
icon to edit the pageNow you can click into where you want the image to be and Add Media with the button on the top:
Now save the changes with the "Update" button on the right.
If this is for a new page, make sure it has a template - if you don't know which one try either Master Template or Full Page(no sidebar) if you don't want nagivation on the side. For example if I chose the
